The BLUE Finca

Palmerisches Steinhaus

Nestled in nature on the quiet outskirts of Puntagorda, The BLUE La Palma is located in the sunny northwest of the Canary Island at an altitude of about 600 meters. The breathtaking architecture of the Casa with over 4 meters high glass fronts gives you insights into nature as you have certainly never experienced.

At your disposal are three large terraces in the newly landscaped garden area, a heated private saltwater pool, two spacious bedrooms with large double beds and fitted wardrobes, two high quality equipped separate bathrooms and a spacious living and dining area. The owners have placed great emphasis on the design, functionality and furnishings of the Casa. Many furnishings were made by a local carpentry shop according to the owners' special requests.  The fully equipped designer kitchen is the centerpiece of the house and, like the entire living area, offers you breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean.

The house technology of the Casa is also up-to-date. For example, all rooms have modern underfloor heating and the kitchen is equipped with the latest brand-name built-in appliances. A washing machine with integrated dryer is of course also available.

An oasis of calm with a heated saltwater pool

The beautifully landscaped garden area offers younumerous retreats. Particular attention was paid to balanced and diverse planting. You can see the colorful, typically Palmerian plant species blooming at any time of the year. In addition, you are welcome to contact usseveral terracesserve distributed fruit trees. Everything your heart desires grows here: avocados, mangoes, peaches, lemons, oranges, tangerines, bananas and much more!

Despite the feeling of being alone, you are on foot in a few minutes in the center of Puntagorda with several restaurants,  Supermarkets, a German bakery with delicious home-baked cakes, a health food store, and all other shops for everyday needs. On weekends you can go shopping in the famous “Mercadillo” in just a few minutes on foot. There you will find a huge selection of exclusively local products, such as fruit, vegetables, meat, the famous Palmerian goat cheese, baked goods, wine, as well as many handicraft products from local artists. It is THE meeting point on the weekend in the north of La Palma.

Remotely located but still central

This proximity to the town is what makes our finca particularly special, as most of the other holiday homes are far outside the towns and you always have to rely on a car.

In January they begin in Puntagorda Almond trees to bloom. Every year at the peak of the almond blossom at the end of January/beginning of February, the famous Almond Blossom Festival takes place in Puntagorda and the entire northwest shines in delicate pink and white. The area around Puntagorda is a must for Nature lover. There are many varied and exciting hiking trails, viewpoints, some old windmills and extensive pine forests.

Puntagorda is ideal for trips to the north of La Palma and to the highest point on the island, the Roque de Los Muchachos (2426m) with its world-famous observatories.

Since the island of La Palma is a biosphere reserve and, thanks to the observatories, also a no-fly zone, you have a clearer view of the stars at night than anywhere else in the world. And you don't even have to leave our garden...

In about 40 minutes you are in Los Llanos with the famous Plaza de España and the picturesque Canarian streets and houses. You can reach the black sand beach of Tazacorte in about 25 minutes.

Satellite TV and WiFi are of course free available. Of course, if necessary, a baby bed/baby high chair, etc. are also available for your family.

The BLUE – Finca can only be booked in combination with The BLUE – Casa. However, booking THE Blue – Casa alone is possible at any time.
